Mayor's Park is located on Koontz Lane and Center Drive in southeast Carson City. The park has a paved trail, picnic benches, and allows dogs off-leash. For years this park had no signage but had a great name. Mayor Lori Bagwell wanted to improve this park and former Mayor Ray Masayko funded upgrades to the park. The Foundation for Carson City Parks & Recreation supported the improvement efforts by managing donations and assisting with the design and publicity.

In July 2022, several new benches and a beautiful new informational kiosk were installed. The kiosk is dedicated to all the mayors that have served Carson City and has room for additional names to be added.
