Carson Ridge Disc Golf

The Carson Ridge Disc Golf Park & Interpretive Trails were opened in 2019. The Complex provides a fun and challenging experience for all disc golfers, while connecting with the local history and ecology. The Carson Ridge Complex is operated by the Carson City Parks & Recreation Department.

The Complex includes a practice area, the Pony Express short course, and the championship Stadium Course. The practice area has two baskets for learning how to putt and throw short distances to a disc golf basket. The 9-hole course is perfect for players new to the sport, children, and families. The 18- hole Stadium Course will challenge intermediate and experienced disc golfers alike.

The defined trails and high desert landscape include signage emphasizing historical facts about the Western Nevada Pony Express stations the served riders along the legendary Pony Express Trail, which runs adjacent to the Disc Golf Park.
